To treat is to try and cure. To be cured is the desire of every patient. To cure is the mission of every doctor.
This section takes a look at some of the most common procedures that help us cure diseases. However, this is a somewhat pretentious claim as a cure is not always possible. Sometimes, we must be content with managing to “slow down” or “control” the effects of this disease or that trauma.
Fortunately, thanks to advances in technology and increased knowledge about diseases, the list of curable or controllable diseases is quickly increasing and the number of failed or unresolvable cases is dwindling.
We invite you to find out more about these treatments from the following information written by ICO's very own experienced and dedicated medical stars: our ophthalmologists.
